SUPER COLOURFUL VINTAGE WEDDING
THE PALACE STABLES | ARMAGH | NORTHERN IRELAND
Today I have a super colourful vintage themed treat for you!
Kerry and Alison held their wedding at the gorgeous setting of the Palace Stables in Armagh with their reception held in the Moody Boar restaurant. I loved, loved, loved everything about this wedding. From the lovely Alison and Kerry themselves, to the sheer standard of work that went into decorating the Palace Stables for their wedding. Alison’s mum spent a great deal of time helping her source all those little vintage lampshades hanging from the ceiling and decorating each window sill with precious memories of their loved ones (note Alison’s glasses placed alongside her beloved Granny’s).
Kerry and Alison decided to have a first look before their ceremony. Kerry awaited Alison’s arrival with his Best Gal in the Moody Boar Bar. First looks are such a beautiful moment to witness, full of emotion and excitement. They shared a few minutes alone together before Alison’s brother and Kerry’s sister gave a blessing with their family and friends surrounding them.
The flowers, that cake (those flamingos though!), the vintage napkins given to every guest, Kerry’s super blue corduroy suit, Alison’s dreamy 100 year old vintage dress from the fabulous Archive 12, the beautifully dark and quirky interiors of the Moody Boar Bar, the food (oh the food) and their family and friends who welcomed me with open arms, tears and laughs.
An intimate ceremony followed by drinks and canapés in the sunlit courtyard made for such a special day. My first wedding at the Pace Stables was an amazing one. A truly beautiful couple.
“We absolutely loved having you & Chris there! Everyone commented how they felt so at ease! I cried my way through looking at them! They’re really great!”
